Season of Creation 2026 — Living Water

A Season of Creation 2026 is a special time for Christians around the world to come together in prayer, reflection, and action for the care of God’s creation. This year’s theme, “Living Water,” invites us to reflect on water as a precious gift from God, essential to all life and a powerful symbol of renewal, hope, and spiritual transformation.

Water connects us all. It crosses borders, sustains communities, nourishes the earth, and reminds us that creation is a shared gift and a shared responsibility. At the same time, many communities around the world face drought, floods, pollution, and unequal access to clean water.

The Season of Creation is an ecumenical celebration, bringing together Christians from different traditions and denominations. It is an opportunity to set aside our differences and unite around a common call: to give thanks for creation, to listen to the cry of the earth and of those who suffer, and to become faithful stewards of the gift entrusted to us.
